Real barcodes in every preview

Pass previews now render the actual barcode for every format — QR, Aztec, PDF417, and Code 128 — instead of a placeholder.

Until now, pass previews drew a stand-in pattern where the barcode would be. That was fine for judging layout, but it hid the one part of the pass a scanner actually cares about.

Previews across Passmint — the designer canvas, template cards, and the marketing site — now render the real symbology for whatever format the template uses:

  • QR and Aztec with correct module density for the encoded value
  • PDF417 with its stacked-row aspect ratio, as Apple Wallet renders it
  • Code 128 for one-dimensional retail flows

Each preview draws true-to-format symbology at the density and aspect ratio your barcode type actually uses, so the layout you approve in the designer is the layout a scanner meets at the door.
