What you can do

A few ways teams put Pipedrive and Passmint to work together.

Trigger on a deal update, add a Find Pass step (by holder email), then Update Pass. When the deal's plan or owner changes in Pipedrive, the new value is pushed straight to the pass already in the client's wallet — no re-issue.
Swap the trigger for a new person added to Pipedrive and issue a welcome pass on first contact, before any deal exists. Map the person's fields onto the pass and use the deal-based flow later to upgrade it.

Set it up

One Zap links the two — live in a few minutes, no code involved.

  • A Passmint account and an API key (pmk_live… or pmk_test…), from Developers → API Keys.
  • A Passmint template for the pass you're issuing — a membership or generic pass. Note its field names (e.g. plan_name, deal_value): they must match the Pipedrive fields you map.
  • A Zapier account (the free plan is enough to build and test this).
  • A Pipedrive account with the pipeline and stage you want to issue from, and a person email on the deals so passes can be delivered.

In Zapier, add Passmint as a connected app and paste your API key when prompted. Zapier verifies it against your account immediately. Use a pmk_test… key while you set things up.

Create a Zap with Pipedrive as the trigger app and choose the event that fits — a deal that's updated (so you can filter on its new stage) or a new person added. Send a test so Zapier reads a sample deal or person and learns the field names.

TODO(verify): Confirm the exact Pipedrive trigger label and that it exposes the deal's stage so you can filter on a specific stage. If you only want one pipeline, confirm the trigger lets you scope to it.

Add an action step, choose Passmint, and select Create Pass. Pick the template from the dropdown — Zapier loads your templates automatically. Then map Holder Email and Holder Name from the person attached to the deal.

In Field Values, map the Pipedrive fields you want on the pass to template fields — a plan custom field to plan_name, deal value to deal_value, and so on. Each key on the left must exactly match a field name in your Passmint template. Send a test, open the resulting pass on a phone, then switch to a pmk_live… key and turn the Zap on.

TODO(verify): On a real template, confirm the Field Values keys exist as field names there. Confirm the names of the Pipedrive custom fields you mapped — custom-field keys in Pipedrive are hashed strings, not their labels.

Questions

The details teams check before switching the Zap on.

Trigger on a deal update, then add a Zapier filter that requires the stage to equal your target (e.g. 'Won'). Only deals that reach that stage continue to the Create Pass step, so the pass is issued exactly at that moment.
From the person linked to the deal. Map the person's email to Holder Email and their name to Holder Name. If a deal has no linked person with an email, add a Zapier filter requiring one so you don't issue undeliverable passes.
Yes — map it in Field Values to a matching template field name. Note that Pipedrive exposes custom fields by a hashed key rather than their label, so confirm you've mapped the right one against a test deal.
Zapier is perfect for getting this live today. When your pipeline closes deals faster than per-task pricing allows, or you want pass fields driven straight from Pipedrive data in your own backend, call the Passmint API directly — POST /v1/passes, or the @passmint/node SDK. Same passes, same live updates, full control.
