Apple Wallet & Google Wallet, one API.

For pass holders

Add a pass to Google Wallet

Updated June 29, 2026

Adding a pass to Google Wallet on your Android phone is quick. Whether it arrived by link, email, or QR code, the steps are much the same.

From a link or email

1
Open the link on your Android phone

Tap the pass link or the Add to Google Wallet button in the email or message, on the phone itself.

2
Review the pass

Google shows you a preview of the pass. Check the details.

3
Tap Save

Tap Save to add it to your Google Wallet. It now appears in the Google Wallet app.

From a QR code

If you see a QR code on a screen or printout, scan it with your phone's camera and tap the link that appears. That opens the pass so you can save it.

Pick the right account

Google Wallet saves the pass to the Google account you're signed in with. If you have more than one account on your phone, make sure the right one is active before you save, so you can find the pass later.

Once saved, your pass is tied to your Google account, so it shows up in Google Wallet on any phone where you're signed in. It updates automatically when the business changes it.

If it won't save

See my pass won't install (Android), especially if you see an "unable to save pass" message.
