My pass disappeared
Updated June 29, 2026
If a pass you had is no longer where you expect it, it's usually been moved, expired, or voided rather than truly lost. Here's how to track it down.
Check the expired section
Wallets tidy old passes away rather than deleting them. When a pass passes its expiry date, it's typically moved out of your main list:
- Apple Wallet groups expired and inactive passes together. Scroll to the bottom of Wallet and look for an expired passes area to find it.
- Google Wallet keeps inactive passes accessible too. Look in the app for passes that are no longer shown up front.
The pass is still there; it's just been set aside because it's no longer current.
Check the right account (Google)
A Google Wallet pass is tied to the Google account you saved it with. If you have more than one account on your phone, the pass might be sitting in a different one. Switch accounts in Google Wallet and check each.
It may have been voided
If the business that issued the pass voided it, for example after a refund or cancellation, it's intentionally no longer valid. A voided pass can't be restored. If you think this is a mistake, contact the issuer.
A pass you removed yourself is gone from that wallet. If you still have the original link, you can add it again from there. If not, ask the issuer to re-send it.
Still can't find it?
Contact whoever sent you the pass. They can see its status and re-issue it if needed.
